Stress and NutritionWe all suffer from stresses regularly, and stresses affect our mental condition and health to a great extent. In particular, such problems as low blood pressure, poor digestion function, as well as hair loss and skin problems are linked to stresses. Usually, when you are stressed out you do not think about a good nutrition plan, don’t you? Sometimes you do not think about eating at all! But do not forget that your body needs great amounts of nutrients and minerals in order to get out of this terrible condition and do not feel exhausted and tired.

Stress and nutrition are very important points which should be considered carefully. It is a known fact that a lack of B group vitamins causes depression and impaired memory. That is why when you are under effects of stresses, you should eat dairy products, eggs, nuts, bananas and other foods rich in vitamin B. Sometimes, when you are stressed out your stomach refuses digesting meals and you feel a little nausea. In this situation, you can switch to eating such foods as cereal or well-boiled rice, which are healthy and very light.

CoffeeIf you are a fan of coffee and only a cup of good coffee in the morning can help you get focused, do not give up this habit when you are in stressful conditions. However, remember that increased amounts of caffeine in your body cause stimulate adrenalin production. Excessive adrenalin is not too harmful, but when you are stressed out, it can cause fatigue and CFS. If it is possible, try to keep your caffeine consumption under a strict control. Instead, drink more of freshly squeezed juices and eat lots of fruit.

When you are in stressful conditions, you can start your day with a breakfast which would include an egg and a slice of bacon. Later during the day you can eat the foods with increased content of starch (potato, pasta, bread, etc.) which can help you calm down your nervous system. However, you can do this only if you do not have a weight management problem. In stressful conditions, do not bother your body with a diet. Take care about it properly with a correct nutrition plan, and this will help you to be more prepare to stresses and manage with them more effectively. Remember that stress and nutrition are two things that should go together!
