bladder healthA good bladder heath is very important for everyone of us, but most of people take it a little for granted until real problems start arising. Your bladder plays a key role as a storage for toxins and urine which goes our of your kidneys. Actually your bladder is more prone to many infections and diseases than any other organs of your body. Do not neglect your bladder health and follow the easy steps below to keep your bladder in an excellent condition and minimize the risks linked to bladder problems.

1. Maintain a healthy weight. It is obvious that the more extra pounds you have, the harder pressure your bladder undergoes. Therefore,  it is very important for an excellent bladder health to follow a healthy diet and exercises on a regular basis.

2. Avoid unhealthy drinks. Such beverages as soda, beer, coffee, teas or other drinks with a high content of caffeine or alcohol tend to irritate our bladder. Also, the experts recommend to avoid drinking too much water or liquids as it causes overactive bladder.

These exercises should be regularly done by women and men of any age.

7. Do everything possible to prevent urinary tract infections. These include any type of infections that affect urinary tract and linked to the activities of bacteria that get into the urinary tract. To prevent possible infections, observe the rules of basic hygiene, and always empty your bladder out before having a sexual intercourse. Also, a regular consumption of cranberry juice is linked to lower chances for urinary tract infections.

8. Be careful with taking various medications. Specialists say that there are more than three hundred various medications which can substantially worsen your bladder health. Therefore, always ask your doctor if the is another medication available with can ease your bladder function.

9. Do regular checkups and visit your doctor at least once a year. In particular, men should regularly control their prostate gland health, which has enormous effects on the bladder heath.
